Dear Friends, As we start preparing for the holidays, it’s hard to believe that the end of the year is in sight. This is the season when we take a moment to reflect on the last 12 months and look optimistically towards what lies ahead. And of course, it’s also a time when many of us gather to celebrate with our friends and loved ones. Our team works very hard to make it easy for you to find the right products to mark your celebrations and choose the perfect gifts for the adults in your life. In fact, we start working with our trade partners 12 months in advance to plan our holiday products. It is a collaborative process designed to provide you, our customers, with innovative products and gifts for the holiday season. This year, you can look forward to new holiday flavours in your favourite seasonal products, local craft beer and cider gift packs, sparkling wine and spirit advent calendars and premium product sampler kits, to name just a few possibilities. And if you still can’t decide what to purchase, a gift card remains an easy option that will please even the most discerning wine, beer or spirit aficionado on your list. We would love to hear your feedback on our gifting offerings, so I encourage you to complete our “voice of the customer” survey found on the back of your LCBO receipt. Don’t forget, you also benefit when you shop with your Aeroplan card at the LCBO over the holidays. When you purchase a product on bonus between November 6 and 26, you will be entered into a contest for a chance to win Air Canada flights. As we approach the end of the year, we also take stock of the ways we have given back to the communities in

which we live and work—not to mention our plans for the future. Together with our customers and industry partners, the LCBO is making a meaningful impact and helping to create a more sustainable Ontario. I am filled with pride to share that in the recent fiscal year we transferred a $2.55 billion dividend to the Government of Ontario which helps fund key local and provincial public programs and services including health care, education and infrastructure, and we raised more than $16 million in charitable donations to support the health and well-being of Ontario’s diverse communities. I invite you to learn more about the work we do for the good of Ontario through the Spirit of Sustainability platform (between pages 120 and 121) and donate in-store between December 1 and 31 to raise money for Children’s Health.
