Maple Fudge Old Fashioned This twist on a classic Old Fashioned uses maple butter instead of maple syrup to lend a strong and fudgy maple flavour. It’s the perfect nightcap to enjoy curled up next to the crackling fire. 3 dashes Angostura bitters 2 strips orange peel, divided 2 oz whisky 1 oz water Maple fudge for garnish (optional) 1. Add maple butter, bitters and one orange peel strip to a chilled old-fashioned glass. Muddle orange peel to release flavour. Fill glass with ice. Add whisky and water, and stir well. Garnish with remaining orange peel and maple fudge, if desired. 1 tsp (5 mL) maple butter, or to taste
