Bitter-sweet Add a botanical, lightly bitter hit with gin, then amp up the sweet, floral note with elderflower liqueur. spice is nice Add an ounce of spiced rum to a sweet cider and serve cold over ice with a squeeze of lime, or heat up with a cinnamon stick and star anise. Go Low Cut the booze by mixing equal parts cider and kombucha for a tart sparkler, ginger beer for a spicy kick or cucumber tonic water for a light refresher.
