WE’VE COME DOWN with a case of the festive spirit—a dozen festive spirits, to be precise—to meet a variety of needs over the holiday season. Some of our suggestions are for treats you can treasure or give as gifts to appreciative friends and relatives; others are ideas for the home bar, particularly if you like to stir things up with a cocktail or two. We’ve also raided the room at the LCBO where the seasonal specials are stored—items that only appear at Christmastime and that make excellent presents. You won’t find many of the usual suspects in this mixed case—but we think you’ll enjoy them all.
