WINE STYLE

SUSHI Fresh and vibrant flavours meet herbal, umami and salty notes, sometimes with a bit of heat and smoky notes (from a grill or torch). PIZZA A classic red-sauce pizza with lots of cheese and top pings is rich, savoury, spicy, salty and so satisfying. Choose a wine to match the tangy tomato sauce. NOODLES AND STIR FRIES Chinese, Thai and Indian flavours provide many options. Pair to comple ment the rich, complex sauces, spicy heat and vibrant herbal- or citrus-­ powered top notes. BURRITO Spicy and substantial, rich and cheesy, with beans, grilled veggies, avocado or fresh herbs: a good burrito has just about every flavour element, making pairing a breeze. FRIED CHICKEN Crisp, salty and toasty on the outside; seasoned and meaty on the inside—fried chicken is an umami bomb and a textural sensation.
