Rosé for Days The dry, salmon-coloured Provençal style is almost synonymous with summer, but other wine regions and grapes offer inspired food-matching choices, too.

A Punchier Pitcher A covered drink dispenser, decorated with flavourful garnishes, makes the ideal (and bug-free) vessel for serving a welcome cocktail, like this Spiked Rhubarb Lemonade. Have glasses and ice ready for guests to self-serve, plus lemon twists and more rhubarb rib- bons for garnish. Recipe on page 164.

Ogier Côtes du Ventoux Rosé AOC LCBO 134916, $14.75 Delicately coral-coloured, this dry rosé from southern France has zesty citrus and herb notes with a hint of strawberry.

Chivite Gran Feudo Rosé LCBO 165845, $12.95 Spain’s signature Garnacha (Grenache) grape gives vibrant colour and intense berry flavours to this fruity but bone-dry rosé.

Trius Rosé VQA LCBO 341743, $17.95 Robust Shiraz, Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes go into a structured rosé that needs only a light chill to thrill.
