LCBO Food & Drink Summer 2025

Palate Shock With some new drinks, it’s not just the packaging that’s bold; it’s also punchy fruit flavours with dialled-up zest, perfect for serving on the rocks or straight from the can and paired with swicy (sweet and spicy) flavours. It’s all part of the social media–driven “shock flavours” trend encouraging us to try new and unexpected tastes!

Although many think Brio is an Italian import, it’s actually an Ontario-made chinotto (bitter soda), now transformed into Hard Brio Italian Soda (LCBO 37107, 355 mL, $3.00). It hasn’t been officially crowned the premixed vodka-soda of the summer yet, but Infinite Minds Supersonic Puppy Dreams (LCBO 24411, 473 mL, $3.45) is the orange Creamsicle, pineapple and mango mash-up we didn’t know we needed. We love that an Ontario distillery combined our favourite summery flavours into the cleverly delicious John Sleeman & Sons Watermelon and Mint Vodka Soda (LCBO 41500, 473 mL, $3.30).
