Tbilvino is one of the leading wine producers in Georgia. This wine is 100% Rkatsiteli: an ancient grape that has been recorded in Kakheti as far back as the early 1000s. This semi-sweet red is a 70/30 blend of Saperavi and Cabernet. It has a luxurious, caressing mouth- feel, with forward red fruit tones alongside some dark fruit and spice. Fine acidity balances the sweetness beautifully. A wine for Korean spiced ribs, or wait till the fall and enjoy it with a hearty

TELIANI VALLEY MEDIUM SWEET RED 2023 Alazani Valley, Kakheti Made from the saperavi variety and sourced from the Kakheti region of eastern Georgia, this is described as a “medium sweet red wine.” There’s certainly a little sweetness here, but it mainly comes across as fruity, with a flavour profile that highlights red and dark fruit and berries. The acidity is up to the task, the tannins are easy-going, and you can drink this on its own or with rich dishes such as many meats prepared with barbecue sauce. Tasted February 2025.
