To me, wine means family. Many of my earliest memories are of my Italian-immigrant parents and grandparents crushing grapes in the garage, working together on their homemade wine. I’ve been lucky to experience a range of wines from all over the world and have completed WSET’s Level 2 Award in Wines. I’m always inspired by the history of the wineries we work with, most of which are family- driven as well.” My buying career led me to the exciting world of wine. I love how wine can be a source of pride and heritage. My Hungarian father would often proudly talk about Tokaji at the dinner table. As we shared a bottle, he reminisced about growing up in Hungary. Since joining the LCBO, I have achieved my WSET Award in Wines Level 2 and Level 3.” As an LCBO buyer, my curatorial style has been informed by my career as a buyer specializing in gourmet food and gifts, as a former pastry chef and restaurant manager, and by my wine education (WSET Level 3). Wine is a gift. I’m in awe of every grape, and of the artisans who craft wine and steward the land sustainably for the next generation. I’m inspired by storytelling and history, travel and hospitality, and by the potential to find the right Vintages wines for myself, my guests, and our customers.”

I recently completed WSET Level 2 in Wines and I’m currently working towards WSET Level 3.”
