Mature on the palate with substantial underlying tannins. The fruit is sweet and lingering. An already pleasantly open solar style. From the sub-area of Gaiole in Chianti and soils with components of Galestro and Alberese, Sangiovese, with the contribution of Canaiolo and Colorino. The nose is of Vignola cherry, with hints of wild mint and iris. The mouthfeel is saline, with hints of mentholated notes and a finish with nuances of small fruits and floral sensations. TENUTA SAN GUIDO LE DIFESE 2023 IGT Toscana The nose is bright and crunchy with berry aromas of wild cherry, wild strawberry, potting soil, terracotta, orange zest and tea leaf. Sweet strawberries and raspberries headline the palate alongside red plums and more tangy citrus, plus a balancing note of Earl Grey tea which is fortified by firm, insistent tannins.
