FABRE MONTMAYOU BARREL SELECTION MALBEC 2022 Patagonia 42115 (XD) 750 mL $19.95 2 Fabre was one of the pioneers in showing the world the qualities of Río Negro. Since the mid-1990s this winery has been making wines in Allén, beside the banks of the Negro River. This comes from vineyards that are about 30 years old. 60% of the wine was aged in barrels for a year, and the rest, in concrete for a similar time. It’s a wine that offers the classic notes of blue fruits, like a bowl of blueberries, it’s juicy and fresh, the texture is very smooth, the acidity is friendly, and the flavors are deep.
