BERONIA RUEDA VERDEJO 2024 DO Rueda, vegan

Though not believed to be native to Rueda, Verdejo has truly flourished there and is grown virtually nowhere else. It’s often blended with Viura or Sauvignon Blanc, but this example is 100% Verdejo. This rosé is a dynamic amalgam of white and red grapes sourced from very different sites. The Chardonnay comes from the mountainous, cool Trentino growing area, while the Sauvignon Blanc comes from warmer sites close to the Adriatic Sea. Finally, the red Pinot Nero comes from the Veneto area. Combined, these create a floral wine with fresh red berry and food-friendly acidity. Drink through 2026.
