Posip is a white wine grape grown almost exclusively on the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia. This lively, crisp, wonderfully fragrant wine blends 70% Posip with 20% Vugava (another aromatic Croatian variety) and 10% Chardonnay. Evocative of wild herbs, fresh flowers, tree fruit and saline mineral tones, it will pair nicely with buzara (mussels and scampi cooked in herbed broth) or crab cakes. Kloof Street Rouge is your chance to snap up a bit of Mullineux magic at an eminently affordable price. Skilfully blending Syrah, 15% Cinsault, 8% Tinta Barocca and 2% Grenache, it’s a Swartland take on a Mediterranean blend, all violet and fynbos aromas, appealing 40% whole bunch spices and a core of stony blackberry and red cherry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, brisk and tensile, wonderful purity. The Pinot is beautifully expressed as usual, caressing towards the finish that lingers in the mouth.
