DOMAINE DU GRAND ORMEAU 2020 AOC Lalande de Pomerol, Bordeaux, sustainable I am a fan of the merlots from Lalande-de Pomerol as they always over-deliver for the price. This is a classic with ripe black fruit nestled amid fine oak cedary spice, fresh but subtle herbs. It is medium-full bodied, more dense than I expected with some warmth and firm tannin.
