Tawse opened Redstone Winery in 2015. This winery puts an increased emphasis on the experience for the visitor, with a focus on food and hospitality that invites deeper connec tion to the amazing Niagara region and the Escarpment in particular. As Tawse Winery celebrates 25 years, there’s no trace of complacency in its approach. This leading light of Niagara winemaking is shining brighter than ever. In recognition of this quarter-century milestone, select bottlings will feature updated labels that will roll out gradually throughout 2026 as new vintages are released. These refreshed labels carry a new design nodding to the journey Tawse Winery has taken while casting a confident eye towards the future. Tawse Winery was named Canadian Winery of the Year at the 2026 National Wine Awards of Canada, which is Canada’s most prestigious, comprehensive wine competition. This is the fifth time Tawse has been awarded this distinguished honour.
