Fine and fragrant, mature, nutty, indeed quite a mature and complex tawny without age designation, with nice tannic grip and complex treacly/nutty/ caramelized flavours. This pours pale tawny-brown with the yellow rim of old wine. It has a ripe, sweet nose of caramel apple, peanut shell, orange pekoe tea and charred wood.
