Now that you’ve learned a little about how vintage year and the age of a wine can affect its flavour and appearance (pages 4-21), you may wonder why when you peruse the Essentials Collection on LCBO.com, the vintage isn’t listed for any of the wines, nor are there scores or reviews from critics. This is because Essentials wines are always available at LCBO, so at any given time we might have one or two different vintage years of a particular Essential in different stores and on LCBO.com as inventory comes and goes. Our expert team provides assessments of the wines that will be consistent across vintages. You can find these tasting notes on LCBO.com.
