PETRIESSA MALAGOUZIA 2024 PGI Evia This beautifully aromatic white is made from 100% Malagouzia grapes grown on the island of Evia, which is situated north of the Greek mainland in the Aegean Sea. It offers pronounced notes of lemon blossom, rose petal, white peach, pear, and citrus zest, along with a pleasing touch of minerality. Aromatic & Flavourful 37059 (XD) 750 ml $17.95 1 New at Vintages Malagouzia (mah-lah-goo-ZYA) is a white wine grape believed to be extinct until it was rediscovered in the Nafpaktia region of central Greece in the 1970s. Reminiscent of Viognier, it’s intensely aromatic with notions of fresh flowers, peach, apricot and spice. It’s often paired with roast chicken or creamy pasta dishes.
